Edit I/O Controls

Edit I/O controls is where you will set up satellite shows, music formats, talk shows, etc….  Any Show that is hooked to your Digital I/O Switcher and has input triggers (relays) can be setup in this section.

If a show does not have any Input triggers, you do not need to set it up in this section.

No Matter which Digital I/O device you use, Input 1 is hard coded in the Digital Juke Box to perform a segue.
This allows you to remote control a segue button on your console if you wish.

So depending on your input device, you can only program inputs 2 through 16.

Show List

1. Show List
There are 100 available I/O (Input/Output) sets.
I/O number zero (0) defaults to "System Closures," and is basically used when no satellite shows are active.
Numbers 1-99 can be created as needed for various satellite shows although the Joe Schmoe show is in the list at first look.
These numbers are then plugged into the Satellite Grid to turn the relays for that show on.
Closures can be copied and pasted using the buttons at the bottom to duplicate a show.

2. Show Name
To create a new show, click on a blank line and type the name in the "Satellite Name" box and click Save in the lower, right-hand corner.

Inputs 1-16

3. Inputs 1-16

In the center, the first column labeled "File or Word" consists of 16 boxes that represent the 16 inputs that DJB Zone can receive from your I/O device.
If you are using a Broadcast Tools switcher with 16 PIP inputs, the PIP numbers correspond directly to these boxes.

You can type a Cut number in this box and when the Input is triggered, that audio file will play on the Satellite Triggered channel set in the OnAir Settings.
If you don't know the cut number you can click the browse button [...] and choose it from the event library.

You can also type in one of the Valid Command words from the list on the far right.

In the Description box you should type something meaningful for that relay input.

Output Relays

4. Output Relays
To the right of the Description box are 16 checkboxes that correspond to Output Relays.
You can use the output relays to trigger an external device when the input is triggered by the satellite relay.
