License Status and ID

1. License Status and ID
This area shows whether your software is licensed and your License ID (mine has been blurred). 
If you need to move a license from one PC to another, the Deactivate License button allows you to deactivate the license for later activation one anther computer.

Station Info

2. Station Info
This area shows the station's call letters, location, and slogan fields.  All of these fields are located in the program settings.
You can also configure multiple stations to be used with one Production machine.
You can use the drop down box to choose which station you want to work with.

Now Playing Info Area

3. Now Playing Info Area
This area shows which studio is active on the air, in case you have multiple onair studios.
It also shows whether the active studio is in Auto mode or Jock mode.
It shows the currently playing item's title artist, cut number and shows how much time is left on that item.
Finally it shows which item is next to play after the current item and its titel, artist, paper log time, and cut number..

Version Number

At the bottom, the orange text shows the product name and version number.

On Air Box

5. On Air Box
This box contains items typically used by on air staff:
VoiceTracking: This allows on air staff to insert voicetracks or record (or rerecord) already scheduled voicetracks.
Hot Key Editor: This allows editing of the buttons on the On Air Hotkeys pane.  Each personality can have their own pages of Hot Keys.
Manual Weather Updater: This allows editing of the text in the On Air's weather pane. 
Bear in mind when the DJB Weather Updater sends its hourly update it will overwrite this information unless you check "Skip Updating Reports" in the Weather Updater settings.

Production Box

This box contains item used by producers:
Production: This is the main Database Editor.
MultiCut Carts: This allows creating and editing of Multi Cut Carts.

Programming Box

7. Programming Box
This box contains items used by schedulers (PDs, Traffic, etc.):
Log Editor: This can view an existing log, even today's log and make changes.
Scheduler: This has an entire suite of functions for creating shells, generating logs, and running reports.
Time and Temp Setup: This allows you to record and schedule voices to announce the time and temperature.
Sports Interface Editor: This is used to setup game clocks for the Sports Interface.

Engineering Box

8. Engineering Box
This box contains sensitive functions usually reserved for Engineers or Operations Managers:
Edit Satellite Grids: This is where you schedule which satellite I/O control set to use by day and hour.
Edit I/O Controls: This is where you can create and edit up to 99 different satellite shows.
Edit Command Cuts: This is where you can find, create and edit command cuts that can be placed in the schedule.
BGR Schedule: This is where you create Back Ground Recording (BGR) schedules.  BGR must be enabled in Station Settings.
Edit Security Settings: This is where you can password protect the various function groups.
Edit Station Settings: This is where you can edit the global station settings.
All of the features above will be explained in more detail in following sections.

Exit Button

9. Exit Button
Click this to exit the Production Suite.
It is important to close the Production screen when not in use to protect the SQL database.
