Edit Tempo Policy

In general, Tempo Policies shape the overall sound of the music on your station.
In the Production Database Editor each cut can be assigned a tempo:
Slow, Medium Slow, Medium, Medium Fast, or Fast.
In the grid below the tempos correspond to numbers:
1 - Slow
2 - Medium Slow
3 - Medium
4 - Medium Fast
5 - Fast

There are 9 tabs corresponding to the 9 Tempo Policies you can assign to a shell hour (or you can assign 0 to exempt that hour).

On each of the tabs you check the tempo interactions you wish to avoid.
In the example below the scheduler will avoid going from a Slow to Slow (1 to 1).
It will also avoid a 1 into a 2 AND a 2 into a 1.
Finally it will avoid 4 into 5, 5 into 4, and 5 into 5.

All of these will be ignored if the "Do you want to use Tempo Protection?" box is not checked.
