Event Button

2. Add Record
Event Button
Click this to begin creating a new audio recording event.
On the box that pops up, you select the exact time (HHMMSS) and check the boxes for the days of the week you wish the event to record.
Enter a description for the BGR Event.
Enter the file name in the form DJB_xxxxx.mp3 (if recording is set to MP3).

**NOTE** BGR can only overwrite existing cuts in the database.
If the database entry doesn't already exist, BGR will still record the cut into your JBMusic folder, but it will not show in the Audio & Event Library or on the Production screen.

Enter the recording duration in seconds.

The next 4 sections only pertain to Input triggers.
If triggers are firing during the recording and you wish them to be fired when the BGR cut plays back, then you put the trigger number(s) in the "Record these Triggers" box.
So if you want triggers 3 and 4 to be recorded and played back, put "3,4" in the box (without the quotes).

The next 2 boxes allow you to receive a trigger to start and stop the BGR.
Example: you have a 1 minute recording that will start recording when input 4 is triggered and stop when input 5 is triggered.
If the trigger is coming between 00 and 05, then set the minutes to 00 and the duration to 360 (6 minutes).
When input 4 is received it will begin recording and when input 5 is received 60 seconds later it will stop and save the 60 second file.

The last box selects the IO Grid number that will be used when the triggers that were recorded are replayed.
