Hot Key Editor

The Hot Key Editor in the Production suite lets you set up the Hot Keys that are available in the DJB Radio On Air software.

Audio Library

This is the library window from which to drag items onto the Hot Keys buttons.

You can filter the library by Audio Type, Category, or see All Cuts.

Below the list is a search box where you can put in a cut number and hit search rather than scrolling down the library.

This area shows the current Page of Hot Keys.

Each page contains 20 buttons that can be filled with any audio cut in the DJB Production Database.

The text on the button is customizable and the length of the audio cut is displayed below each button.

The red buttons allow you to select one of 10 pages of 20 Hot Keys each.

You can use the pages for different types of audio cuts, different on air personalities, or both.

If you want to name the pages, select the page button, type the name in the box to the left of the Change button and then click the Change button.

In the example above Page 1 has been renamed: "SFX"

The Hot Key Text boxes are where you can change the text on the buttons.

The Cut # column shows the actual cut number of each sound file.

They will be located in the JBMusic folder and be named DJB_Cut#.wav (or mp3, etc.)

To remove a cut and its corresponding text from a button, click the clear button on the right.

As you would expect this button closes the Hot Key Editor.
