You can optionally receive an email after the success or failure of an item.
Email Delivery
· Send email on Successful Download/Send email on Failed Download. These checkboxes turn off and on email sending.
Before this will work, you must configure your email server information and provide the email addresses (described shortly).
· Reset Email Totals... The main screen keeps a running display of emails sent. You can use this button to reset the counts to zero.
· Email 'To:' Address. You can send emails to multiple addresses by including the email addresses and using commas to separate the entries. When a message is sent, everyone on the list will be sent an email.
· Server Setup. Your email server information needs to be set up to send emails. Note that the button will display an alert until it is set up properly. On the email setup dialog below, configure the email server settings, such as port number, SMTP or POP server, address, etc. You can also test your settings by sending an email to an address of your choice. This is highly recommended, to confirm all the settings are correct before saving them. If you are unsure of the settings contact your email provider. Many common providers' settings can be found by Googling the provider's name and "SMTP server settings." Note: Gmail may require you to use an App password instead of your email password.
The FROM box on the form shows up as the sender's name on the emails. It can be a name or an email address.
