Setting Automatic Windows Updates

 

If you do not set the automatic updates on your computer, you may come in to the station and realize you are off the air because by default, windows downloads and installs updates at 3am.  Sometimes windows will reboot your computer after the auto update process.

 

To avoid the 3am blues, you need to set this screen correctly.

 

1.  Click Start

2.  Click Control Panel

3.  Open Automatic Updates

4.  Select Download Updates for me, But let me choose when to install them.
