Master Settings - Timing

In the Forced Fade Duration text box enter the number of seconds you would like forced fades to take.  2 seconds is a great starting point.

In the Hourly Update Time text box enter the minutes and seconds at which you want the on air system to update to the next hour.  5830 is a good starting point and has been proven to work great.

If you wish to have your on air screen begin playing at a specific time enter the time into the sign on time box and check the Use Sign on Time box.

If you wish to have you on air screen stop playing at a specific time enter the time into the sign off time box and check the Use Sign off Time box.

If you want 24 hour military time, select the 24 hour time check box.

Forced Time Updates tell the DJB to play exact time events even if the exact time event already played due to you having a short hour and not enough elements, this would cause it to go back and play it again.  You should try to stay away from this feature as we added it for one client station with a specific need.

Backtime Segues will make your station sound better for segues where you may have a long ending on one song going into a song with a very short intro.  you wouldnt want the next song to get stomped on by the ending of the last song.  We have an even better method called Fade Out Everything and its in the Audio Cards Playback section of master settings.
