Background Record Events

Background Record Events
 
Note: Background Recording is limited to One Recording in Mono or Stereo

Add Record Event

1. Add Record EventA record event is is the actual audio recording that you want to set up for recording.

Add Command Event

2. Add Command EventA Command Event is command that you would like to send to a Broadcast Tools Switcher prior to the Record event starting or just after the recording has completed
 
These are usually commands to turn an audio channel on the BTSS switcher on and off to the record line in on the audio card.
 
Make sure that you space these commands away from the actual Record Event by at least 5 seconds to ensure that there is enough time for the command to work prior to or following the Record Event.

Edit an Event

3. Edit an EventThis will allow you to fine tune your events on this Background Record List.
 
Simply Highlight an event and press this button and you will be able to edit the properties of that event.

Recording Enabled

4. Recording EnabledYou can only enable Background Recording on an On-Air System Only.
 
If you set this system to a production system and go into the Background record screen, Recording enabled will be deselected automatically and you must remove the Production System setting in Master Settings and return here to enable it again.

Delete an Event

5. Delete an EventThis will allow you to delete events on this Background Record List.
 
Simply Highlight an event and press this button and you will be able to delete that event.

Input Settings

6. Input SettingsChoose the Audio Card and Input Channel that you would like to record from while doing a background record session.
