How to Play Button Panel with a Keyboard
How to "MAP" (assign) your keyboard buttons to remote START / STOP (alternate push) the Audio HOT Buttons
Follow the process are described in Figure 1.

and slect the button [Key Mappings] which then displays the DJB BBPro screen blank of any keyboard "Maps" or assignments.
Planning the next step: Assigning the Keyboard Keys (Mapping)
There are many schemes that might apply to how to MAP the keyboard to the Hot Buttons. Ours below is simply an example.
Use your number keys for the Hot Buttons with Audio that are most likely to be used by remote start in your LIVE Programming
Example: Station ID's, Promos, Jingles, whatever is in your station programming that is needed to be PLAYED repeated with ease.
Note: The Keyboard Key Mapping is relevant to every Hot Button page that you open - the key you pick will look for the same position
and will then PLAY when you push the assigned keyboard key to that position on the screen.
It's very important to plan the assignment of Keyboard Keys for this feature, FIRST!
Ideally, the number keypad on the right will lend itself to the DJB BBPro screen in front of you. So, lets assign the number pad
first.
Caution: Things that will prevent the number pad from working effectively
a) The "Num Lock" deactivates the number key and does not allow assignment.
b) The same condition will apply if you happen to turn the "Num Lock" OFF.
c) If you have dual screens and you are working on some other app, the number pad will only work STRAT / STIO if the BBPro is the current active app.
d) So make certain the Num Lock is ON and your BBPro is the most active app on your screen Use your TAB key to select BBPro or mouse click the
BBPro edges to make the app front and center.
