How to Build & Edit a Template

The MENU/Edit/Program Settings/ Scheduling Tab / Template Scheduler/Edit Template window for building & editing hourly templates

Figure 1: The Edit Template window has three key sections which are:

Station ID's General Audio Added Randomly - displays MAIN Tabs / SUB Tabs and the average audio item length of the audio assets.

Note: The opposite side under Audio Entries shows the same audio MAIN or SUB Tabs except with added Rest Rules for non repeats in the time period.
Scheduled Events (w/Average Timing) Display
This Scheduled Events window starts from a NEW Template as empty of any SUB Tabs in it
next to be used are SUB Tabs or MAIN Tabs in the building process of an hour template
Since BBPro does the selectiion of the actual music items in a SUB or MAIN Tab,
Drag n Drop a SUB Tab from the General Audio or from the Audio Entries item selected
Tabs are Drag n Dropped from Station IDs General Audio or Audio Entries windows into the Scheduled Events window

Note: About audio with Rest Rules and Audio without
Station IDs General Audio window will Drag n Drop SUB or MAIN Tabs without any Rest Rules (Same audio could play back to back)
SUB or MAIN Tabs Drag n Dropped from right side Audio Entries will operate under the Rest Rules stated
the added Start Time plus audio item Runtime of each line entry (add till the hour "60" minutes is built)
Audio Entries w/Rest Rules - Sub Tabs that can have rest rules (Avoid Repeats) for the music based on Artist, Title and Album.
Note: The Avoid Repeats (rest rule period) is user adjustable - Artist no repeat is most popular to manage.

Figure 1 illustrates how users can Drag n Drop Station ID's, news, Promos into the Scheduled Events window.

Note: As each audio Sub Tab is added, the Start Time begins to add the average time of the audio items in that Tab.

Note 2: The Audio Entries SUB Tabs selected can have Rest Rules that can apply to each

Example ie., no repeat Artist 15 minutes and Titles every 120 minutes.

These settings are one setting for all SUB Tabs Drag n Dropped into Scheduled Events window

Figure 2 shows a full hour built by Drag n Drop from Station ID's, news, ads, and music Tabs from the right side Audio Entries window.

Figure 2 illustrates the Scheduled Events Window with Sub Tabs arranged as follows:

Build until there is over 1 Hour (or as close as possible to 1 Hour) worth of average time from SUB Tabs picked
