Setup an Input/Output Control for your Sports Feed
After you have wired the closures that you get from the particular sports game (in our example we’re using a Broadcast Tools switcher, which is
the most common these days); the first step is to setup what each one of the Closures do.
So from the Main Screen of a DJB II workstation select Input Output Controls
Select an Empty slot in the list
In Our Example we have wired the closure that is for playing a break up to closure number 2
So we enter the command SPORTS and a Description into slot number 2
When closure 2 is activated the DJB II system will send a command to the DJB II Sports interface to start playing a break
The Game End closure is on closure 3 so the SportsOff command goes there
This command will tell the DJB II Sports Interface to end the game and DJB II will return to normal programming
The game also sends a closure for a legal ID so that is setup for out legal ID audio file.
