Station Setup

1. Station Setup
This important section tells the program where to find the necessary files.
Typically this will be an audio drive on the On Air computer.
2

VoiceTracking

Settings

2. VoiceTracking
Settings
The first box tells the On Air to what level to duck (or reduce) the volume of the intro of the song after the VoiceTrack.
The second box is the time in seconds it takes the song to return to full volume after the VoiceTrack ends.

Editor Update

Settings

3. Editor Update
Settings

This important setting affects how Production interfaces with Today's log.

If this is set to "After Edit," changes made to the current log in the Log Editor or Voice Tracking will go to the On Air immediately.
If this is set to "After Exit," changes made to the current log in the Log Editor or Voice Tracking will go to the On Air after you close the Log Editor or Voice Tracking.

While attached in "After Exit" mode an indicator will appear notifying the On Air user because any changes made in the studio will be replaced when the Log Editor or Voice Tracker disconnects.

After each edit (or after exiting either editor) a button will appear at the bottom of the On Air screen "Log Updated Press to Reload":

Also under the Stop Log Audio button there is a countdown timer (the time is set in the On Air settings).

Once you press the "Press to Reload" button or the countdown finishes on the On Air PC, the log changes are made in the On Air Log.
