Audio Cuts: Editing Audio Types

From the main Production menu select Production

 
 

Once Production Database Editor opens click "Edit Audio Types"

DJB Radio comes with a default list of Audio Types for your use. 
Custom Audio Types can be created and deleted.
 
Note: The default Audio Types cannot be deleted.

Audio Type List

1. Audio Type List
This box contains all of the Audio Types. 
You will need to scroll down to see them all.

Add Button

2. Add Button
The Add button allows you to create a new custom Audio Type.

Delete Button

3. Delete Button
The Delete button allows you to delete a custom Audio Type.
Note: the default Audio Types cannot be deleted.

Select Color Button

4. Select Color Button
The Select Color button allows you to choose the font colors of the various Audio Types. 
This can be very helpful in quickly recognizing what is coming up in the schedule in On Air.

Commercial Checkbox

5. Commercial Checkbox
Check this box to indicate that the Audio Type contains commercial content. 
This will cause the Audio Type to be reported on the Spot Play report for reconciliation.

Music Checkbox

6. Music Checkbox
Check this box to indicate that the Audio Type is Music.
This will cause the Audio Type to be reported on the Spins report for reporting.

Send Now Playing Checkbox

7. Send Now Playing Checkbox
If you check this box, the Audio Type's Title and Artist info will be sent to Now Playing for RDS or Streaming Text output.

Exit Button

8. Exit Button
As you might expect, this button closes the Audio Type editor and returns you to the Production screen.
